Mahogany dining table – The dining room is one of the main elements of any space. That’s where you eat, live and even work if you do not have a studio. A dining table made of mahogany wood can be worth several thousand dollars. Build your own table is much cheaper.
There are two options for constructing the table surface. A reclaimed door or a medium density fiber board. The doors solid and hollow come in standard measures 78, 80 and 82 inches tall by 32, 34 and 36 inches wide MDF comes in 4 x 8 ft. And 3/4 inch thick (1.9 cm) sheets and can be cut into any shape you want: rectangular, square, circular, oblong, and so on. The surface of the mahogany dining table you choose depends on the space you have. A reclaimed door, for example, will only work in a large dining room because of its length. With the MDF, there is more chance of building a table that fits in the space you have.
Choosing the legs of your mahogany dining table depends on whether you want them to be on the corners or to pedestal under the table. For a pedestal table, Murray Anderson suggests two cable reels placed on their sides, one on top of the other. Be sure to use the thickest you find, and this way you will make the legs of the table stronger and therefore the table can support the weight.
